In car camera

This is the camera that they use to record some of the cool in car stuff you see on you tube. I’m sure with some duct tape and bungees we can get the same effect with our cameras.

I had talked to dad about making a dash cam for our jeep, but he said he figured it would bounce around to much to see what was going on. I don’t know though, I’m actually surprised those things are only 200 bucks, i figured they would be more expensive than that.

I thought the same thing but I have seen lots of in car stuff that looks just fine so I want to experiment with it. Now that Mike Woods has the same camera as the GAORC cameras we should have plenty of them so I don’t see why we can’t tape one to a roll cage. The GAORC cameras are already roughed up pretty good so I don’t see any reason why we can’t experiment a little.

Those cameras seem to be pretty tough!

Also, I agree about the price. I thought that they would be much more.

I used the helmet cam from my digital camcorder to try to locate a weird noise under that Cherokee. I just zip tied it under there and went ripping around for a bit. It worked pretty good and the undercarriage footage would be pretty badass in a video.

We will just have to see what the quality looks like compared to our other cameras.

Yeah a helmet camera at wheel level so you could see it flexing up and down would be pretty sweet.

I would think that if you put it in the wheel all it would do would be spin??

Nah, just at wheel level not on the wheel. I guess you could if you wanted. Maybe put it on a spinner wheel lol.

If it is any thing like one for motocross , any one who has never seen it . it will make you sick to your stomach the first time you watch it . they don’t bounce to much , just gives you a good prospective on what is going on in the cab ..
